All of Indian Country knows the current state of America’s economy and they getting themselves more into debt. With federal budget some decline in our Alaska Native, First Nations and American Indian programs receiving budget cuts. We see our Congressional leadership, Office of the President, Corporate leaders struggling to put into place viable economic solutions. We readily see this Nation America debt hitting trillions of dollars. For Alaska Native and Native American Tribes our trust fund and the mismanagement of our dollars in the hands of federal government unaccounted for and a class action suit had to be implemented to gain back at least a portion of what was mismanaged. Native Americans still waiting for the profits from their land and resources assets are appealing to the public to be heard. (Friends Committee on National Legislation) Investments are much needed to bring social and economic betterment to all of North America’s Indigenous. Several tribes have high as 80% unemployment rate while the rest of America is at about 9.5% unemployment rate as of July 2010. So with a bleak economy surrounding First Nations and Indian County, USA Alaska Native, American Indian and First Nations have to take their own financial imitative to once again prosper their tribes.
